CodeWithoutAI relies on Apple's native Content Filter System Extension (NetworkExtension) to evaluate and block network endpoints safely without root daemons.

How to Approve the Extension in macOS System Settings:

1. Open CodeWithoutAI and navigate to Settings → System Network Extension;
2. Click Configure Extension;
3. When macOS asks for system extension approval, open System Settings → Privacy & Security;
4. Find the security/system extension approval section and click Allow for CodeWithoutAI if prompted;
5. Enter your Mac user password or Touch ID to complete system authorization.

Q: How does Desktop App Process Termination (Hard Lock) work?

When Hard Lock Mode is enabled for an active focus session, CodeWithoutAI monitors running processes locally on your Mac and automatically terminates matching desktop AI application processes (such as ChatGPT, Cursor, or Claude desktop apps) as soon as a session starts or an app is launched.

Q: How do I manage or cancel my CodeWithoutAI Pro Subscription?

Subscriptions are managed directly by Apple. On your Mac, open System Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions, select CodeWithoutAI, and choose Cancel Subscription. Apple controls subscription billing and cancellation.

Q: How do I restore my Pro subscription on a new Mac?

Open CodeWithoutAI on your new Mac → Go to Settings → Subscription & License → Click Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account used to make the original purchase.

Q: I purchased Pro but it is not unlocked. What should I do?

First, make sure you are signed into the Apple Account used for the purchase. In CodeWithoutAI, open Settings → Subscription & License and select Restore Purchases. If Pro is still not restored, contact us at meetb2602@gmail.com and include the approximate purchase date and the version of CodeWithoutAI you are using. Please do not send your Apple Account password or payment information.

Q: Are my browsing history or custom domain rules collected?

No. Network filtering and custom blocking rules are processed locally on your Mac. CodeWithoutAI does not upload your browsing history, network traffic, or custom blocking lists to our servers.
