CodeWithoutAI ("we", "our", or "us"), developed by Meet, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how information is handled when you use the CodeWithoutAI macOS application (the "App") and our website at codewithoutai.dev.

2. Information We Handle

a. Network & Domain Blocking Data (Local Only)

CodeWithoutAI uses Apple's native macOS Content Filter APIs (NetworkExtension) to evaluate outbound network connections against your selected AI services catalog and custom domains during active focus sessions. All network rule evaluation occurs entirely locally on your Mac. We do not inspect, log, store, or transmit your network traffic, browsing history, or IP activity to external servers.

b. Desktop App Process Monitoring (Local Only)

When Hard Lock Mode is enabled, CodeWithoutAI monitors running desktop processes locally on your Mac using native Cocoa Cocoa APIs (NSWorkspace) to terminate configured AI desktop applications (such as ChatGPT.app, Cursor.app, or Claude.app). Process monitoring and termination occur 100% locally on your device. CodeWithoutAI does not transmit running process lists, active applications, or device activity logs to any external server.

c. Purchase and Subscription Information

When you purchase a subscription or unlock CodeWithoutAI Pro, transactions are processed directly by Apple through the Mac App Store. We use RevenueCat to validate purchase information and manage subscription entitlement status. RevenueCat may process an anonymous App User ID, app/device technical information, purchase and subscription information, and related transaction data needed to provide these services. We do not receive or store your credit card number, billing address, or Apple ID password.

d. Analytics & Telemetry

When analytics is enabled in App Settings, CodeWithoutAI uses PostHog to collect limited product telemetry, such as focus session completion counts, paywall views, app version, OS version, and error codes. This information helps us improve app stability and feature design. We do not use telemetry to monitor your private coding activities or browsing history, and you can disable analytics at any time in App Settings.

3. How We Use Information

We use the processed information solely to:

• Provide and maintain the App's core network blocking functionality;
• Verify Pro entitlement status and manage auto-renewable subscriptions;
• Diagnose crash reports, system errors, and performance bottlenecks;
• Provide customer support when requested by you.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We work with trusted third-party service providers to power specific app infrastructure:

• Apple App Store / StoreKit: Handles payment processing, subscription billing, and receipt generation. (Apple Privacy Policy)
• RevenueCat: Validates purchase information and manages subscription status across devices. (RevenueCat Privacy Policy)
• Supabase: Provides the public AI service catalog and domain configuration data used by the App. CodeWithoutAI does not send your browsing history, focus history, custom domains, or network traffic to Supabase.
• PostHog: Provides product event analytics, app usage telemetry, and error reporting to help improve app performance and stability. You can toggle analytics on or off at any time in App Settings. (PostHog Privacy Policy)

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your focus history, custom domains, network rules, and app preferences are stored locally on your Mac. We do not upload this locally stored data to our servers. You can remove locally stored app data by using the App's reset/delete-data functionality, if provided, or by removing the App and its associated application data from your Mac.

Subscription and purchase information processed by Apple and RevenueCat may be retained as necessary to provide subscription services, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. To request deletion of data associated with our services, contact us at meetb2602@gmail.com.

6. Children's Privacy

CodeWithoutAI is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at meetb2602@gmail.com.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements or app features. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
